Preparing the Vase
Ensure your vase is meticulously clean. Bacteria is the primary cause of flower wilt. Use warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly before filling with fresh, cool water.
Trimming & Changing Water
Trim stems at a 45-degree angle under water if possible. Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems by 1-2cm to maintain optimal hydration levels.
Ideal Placement
Keep your flowers in a cool, draft-free spot. Avoid direct sunlight, heating vents, and ripening fruit—which emits ethylene gas that speeds up flower aging.
Seasonal & Long-Life Tips
Remove any leaves that fall below the water line. For woody stems (like Hydrangeas), a small vertical snip at the base of the stem can help water absorption.
